How to get to our Hotel:
The fastest way to get here from San Jose is by flying from San Jose Airport to Tambor. Duration of the flight is 20 minutes. From Tambor to Santa Teresa it is about 40 minutes to drive.

If you are planning to get here with a rental car from San Jose (we recommend 4x4), you drive
to the big city of Puntarenas, from there, crossing the Gulf of Nicoya by ferry direction to Paquera
(for up-to-date ferry schedules call the ferry company: 2661-2084).
From Paquera drive on to Cobano and then straight to Santa Teresa / Malpais .
The whole trip from San Jose to Santa Teresa takes around 5 1/2 hours.
There is also the option of taking a taxi straight from San Jose to here. Please coordinate that with the hotel management.
Public busses and shuttles get to Santa Teresa also on a daily basis from San Jose.

In Santa Teresa / Malpais:
When you turn right at the Santa Teresa - Malpais crossroads and enter Santa Teresa, continue driving north until you pass "Supermarket Ronny" on your right, and 100 mts after you will see the sign of Horizon ocean view village and yoga center to your right. 50 mts up the hill - you are there at our hotel.
